Got up at 13:00. Install from last night succeeded, but did not boot. Trying a standard free install today. Still no answer to my bug, "Failed to install".
Went downstairs. Got some water. Took my pills. Mom was not in the living room. I smelled something good cooking (roast).
Mom and Mike returned from the back deck.
13:45. Sue came home from work.
14:00. Finished eating Cheerios with soy milk. Topped it off with a medjool date.
14:09. Mike left to do his daily business. I went upstairs to check
the Guix install. Substitute died. Restarted system init from the
install wizard.
Took a nap on the couch.
16:14. Woke up. Checked installer. Substitute died. Restarted
system init from the install wizard.
Took Sweetie out. Opened a Guinness. The grill has a bottle opener on it!
Went upstairs to check on install. It failed again.
17:33. Built a live Guix image with GNOME, WeeChat, tmux, Git, and Emacs. Finished beer.
18:00. Reheated some beans and cornbread. Mike returned while I was eating. Opened another beer.
19:10. Just smoked a joint with Mike.
19:47. Wrote Guix image.
20:20. Went to bed.
